Second full length video is going to Premiering at Brixton Cycles on March 3rd (will be online shortly after) so thought i’d make (another) little promo video to refresh people memory. Pretty happy with how it turned out, lots of crashes and having a go with some old school tape effects. The song is called BMX crash by Modest Mouse so felt natural to fill it with crashes.
Hope to see some people March 3rd to get right smashed and watch some BMX.
Some film and digital photos from a trip to Lille last month. It was a really fun trip and my first with my BMX. Managed to film a load of good, eat shit loads of Donner Kebabs and drink many warm French beers. We met some rad locals out there. They were patient with our attempts at learning French and showed us some savage spots. commen ta pel Souli Sousi.
Bike building for the sharpest dressed fan.
Amazing views in this small French city
All in a day, everyday, for 4 days non stop.
What a helmet
Baptiste getting whacked
She heard the Dream Boys were in town.
Some digital photos below of people actually riding as well. Most the good stuff happened on street and that all got filmed for the upcoming video because street’s much more cool than skateparks so limited photos.
Max signature whopper table
Stevie mid crash
Same hip, same trick, different person. Stevie havin’ it
Got two rolls of film developed the other day. One was from the Philippines (in the post below) the other is some photos from London, mainly around the Brixton area. I quiet like the contrast between the two sets of images.
This video took a long time to film/ edit and finally i’m happy to say it’s finished. I’ve spent the majority of this video working in bars with really unsociable hours so it’s been hard finding the time to fit in filming when everyone I ride with works 9-5 jobs.
I wanted each section to stand out on it’s own and have it’s own qualities rather than all the sections being the same style. I think I achieved this.
Lots happens in the space of two years and this has been something I have worked on throughout all those things, good and bad. The progression of life/ bike riding/ filming/ editing and loads of other things has been paramount throughout the process of making this video. It’s something I feel happy about and have tried to portray in the video so I hope you can enjoy it as well.
