Second full length video is going to Premiering at Brixton Cycles on March 3rd (will be online shortly after) so thought i’d make (another) little promo video to refresh people memory. Pretty happy with how it turned out, lots of crashes and having a go with some old school tape effects. The song is called BMX crash by Modest Mouse so felt natural to fill it with crashes.
Hope to see some people March 3rd to get right smashed and watch some BMX.
Some film and digital photos from a trip to Lille last month. It was a really fun trip and my first with my BMX. Managed to film a load of good, eat shit loads of Donner Kebabs and drink many warm French beers. We met some rad locals out there. They were patient with our attempts at learning French and showed us some savage spots. commen ta pel Souli Sousi.
Bike building for the sharpest dressed fan.
Amazing views in this small French city
All in a day, everyday, for 4 days non stop.
What a helmet
Baptiste getting whacked
She heard the Dream Boys were in town.
Some digital photos below of people actually riding as well. Most the good stuff happened on street and that all got filmed for the upcoming video because street’s much more cool than skateparks so limited photos.
Max signature whopper table
Stevie mid crash
Same hip, same trick, different person. Stevie havin’ it
Big cliff has been revamped and is still very big but kind of sloped and maybe more of a massive hill, naturally it is super hard and fun to ride as everything at The Spot is. Many a BMX stunt has been seen at the top near the bottom and on the floor just after. This one is a skate stunt though and a mighty fine one.
Got a new lense which is almost unbelievably better than my old standard lense. This is the first proper photo I have taken with it and also the first skating photo I have taken. Skating does look pretty.
Got two rolls of film developed the other day. One was from the Philippines (in the post below) the other is some photos from London, mainly around the Brixton area. I quiet like the contrast between the two sets of images.
