Some film and digital photos from a trip to Lille last month. It was a really fun trip and my first with my BMX. Managed to film a load of good, eat shit loads of Donner Kebabs and drink many warm French beers. We met some rad locals out there. They were patient with our attempts at learning French and showed us some savage spots. commen ta pel Souli Sousi.
Bike building for the sharpest dressed fan.
Amazing views in this small French city
All in a day, everyday, for 4 days non stop.
What a helmet
Baptiste getting whacked
She heard the Dream Boys were in town.
Some digital photos below of people actually riding as well. Most the good stuff happened on street and that all got filmed for the upcoming video because street’s much more cool than skateparks so limited photos.

Stevie mid crash
Same hip, same trick, different person. Stevie havin’ it
Last night was Fright Light Night at the spot but it’s summer and light till 10:00ish so it was basically just a Wednesday. Cronos & co are well underway for preparations for Saturdays jam building some sort of wooden street hippodrome mega casino. It’s a lot of work and for good reason. This thing is going to look insane when its on fire late Saturday night/ early Sunday morning and everyones doing stunts all over it.
The jam is apparently advertising free so don’t come and don’t bring fireworks.
Doctor Dan did the elusive BBQ rip rider last night which always looks cool. He did it loads of times and made it look mega easy every time. Check the writing on the bell as Dan rides over the door for an accurate caption of what’s going on.
Dream Bag (Bren) was being a softie and wouldn’t ride so I had to bribe him to do the over icepick back over. I paid him a can of Polish lager to take the photo (after the stunt/ photo was done). I then stood slightly too close and his front wheel zapped the plastic sleeve on the end of my lense just after the photo was taken. No damage to the lense and stoked on the photo so it’s all good.
Click the photo for full screen rather than tiny or too large.
Big cliff has been revamped and is still very big but kind of sloped and maybe more of a massive hill, naturally it is super hard and fun to ride as everything at The Spot is. Many a BMX stunt has been seen at the top near the bottom and on the floor just after. This one is a skate stunt though and a mighty fine one.
Got a new lense which is almost unbelievably better than my old standard lense. This is the first proper photo I have taken with it and also the first skating photo I have taken. Skating does look pretty.
Got two rolls of film developed the other day. One was from the Philippines (in the post below) the other is some photos from London, mainly around the Brixton area. I quiet like the contrast between the two sets of images.
